Christmas with the Frazier's!

So our Christmas turned out to be pretty good. Even though we were away from home, we kept busy and had a lot of fun. In the morning I woke up and opened our bedroom door to find a paper hanging from a string right in front of my face. This was on the paper:

Late last night Santa was here

And filled your home with Christmas cheer.

He usually puts presents under the tree

Where children’s faces light up with glee,

And fills the stockings with chocolate and candy

Just like for every other Tom, Dick and Randy.

But this year he thought he’d have some fun

Before his yearly quest was done.

So with a little help from your handsome spouse

He hid your loot all over the house.

To find each one marked with a bow

Follow the Christmas map shown below.

Kevin, er, I mean Santa, had written this poem and made this map for me and I had to follow it to find my presents. It was pretty fun and I was so impressed with his creativity, I had to share it with everyone.

Anyway, on Christmas Eve we ate dinner and watched Elf, then we got on skype with Kevin's family in Oregon and he read the christmas story while they acted it out.

On Christmas day, after my little treasure hunt, we drove up to West Valley City to hang out with my aunt and uncle and their three boys. We ate breakfast, played games and enjoyed their company for a while then we came back to Orem to eat dinner with two other couples in our ward who also stayed here during the holidays. From there we went back up to Lehi to watch a movie with some friends.

We finally got back home at about 1:30 AM and even though we were exhausted by the end of it, all-in-all, we had a really good Christmas. :)

Temple Square Christmas Lights!

On Sunday evening, we got to go up to Salt Lake and see the lights at temple square. We met up with Kyle and Christian and some of their friends. Even though it was REALLY cold, we had a lot of fun hanging out with them and seeing all the lights. It was so pretty!

Our First Blog!

Well, we've finally done it. We've finally started a blog. We're not entirely sure what you write in these things, but I guess I'll start it with what is going on in our life right now.

I (Tia) have been going to school to be a Physical Therapist Assistant for the last year and I just finished with classes last Thursday. I don't start my next clinical until January 11th and I have really been enjoying the break so far, although, I don't really know what to do with myself now that I don't have assignments and tests to study for every day. I have actually been picking up a lot of shifts at work (I work at a hospital as a Rehab aide) so that's helped to keep me pretty busy. Other than that, I'm just enjoying the holiday season and looking forward to our trip to cali in a couple weeks! My brother, Andrew, has been serving a mission for our church in Chile for the last two years and will be home then so we are looking forward to seeing him (and the rest of the Suamataia family). :-)

and

I (Kevin) have been both bringing home the bacon (working full time at Western Wats) and being the homemaker (doing the shopping, cooking and cleaning) while Tia has been burning the midnight oil to keep up with her school work load. I think it's safe to say that I am just as relieved as she is that she is done with classes. I've also been spending a lot of time on the wii lately thanks to Kendal and Kelsey who bought us an awesome new starwars game :) We actually drove to Salem, OR recently for Thanksgiving and we got to spend some time with them and my parents which we really enjoyed and wish we could do more often.

This pretty much sums up our lives recently and I feel like we've written a novel now, so we'll try to keep the next posts shorter :-) Hopefully we'll be able to post regularly and keep this updated, but we'll see how it goes...
